Laurie Alice Eakes received a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from Asbury University and taught two years of high school English. She prefers, however, to teach adults to improve their writing craft, and in January of 2012, will begin the coursework to augment her Master of Arts in Writing Popular Fiction with a Master of Fine Arts in Writing.
